For the third time we will have the opportunity to see a huge sculpture made of sand on a beach in Gdansk.
Last year the event was held under the slogan "Great Dantzig". Walesa, we could see the sand, but also Grass and Fahrenheit.
This summer will be placed under the slogan "The Spirit of Architecture Gdańsk. Starts today (25 June) 31 sculptors within 10 days of sand will create the most important monuments of the city: Crane Main Town Hall, Artus Court, as well as the obligatory Golden Lions guarding the city. City Hall will reach 6 meters, the other sculptures will be the amount of 4-5 meters.
The official opening of the exhibition will take place July 5 at 16:00 and, as in past years, the sand sculptures will be able to watch the end of August (but the sooner the better, because it distorts a little rain).
